Meer kunstwerken

Anna Volkova beheerst het ambacht tot in de finesses. Wat haar bijzonder maakt is haar kunstenaarschap. Ze is een voortreffelijk beeldend kunstenaar in hart en nieren. Dat blijkt onder meer uit haar schitterende raam- en deurkunstwerken in glas. Volkova bedacht een techniek gebaseerd op polyurethaan waarmee ze met glas(scherven) als het ware tussen het dubbelglas kan schilderen. Een innovatieve en moderne variant op de glas-in-lood techniek. Met haar bloemen laat Anna zien dat ze kan toveren met porselein. Andere prachtige staaltjes toverkunst, zo mogelijk nog complexer dan haar bloemen, zijn haar pruiken van porselein en haar prachtig met porselein gedecoreerde spiegels.

“Tulpen waren het symbool van welvaart van de Republiek der Nederlanden in de 17e eeuw.
De prachtige kleurrijke en fragile tulpen van Anna zijn met de hand gemaakt volgens oude traditie en zij tonen ons de zuiverheid en schoonheid van deze bloemen.”
